Our ingredients are picked for either their physical and emotional benefits or their magickal properties. Perfume and incense have been used since ancient times to alter mood, by one or a combination of the following; the therapuetic effects of the plants used on mind and body, the ability of a scent to induce a specific feeling within a person or the vibrational effect of a plant on a person or the atmosphere of a space.
The simplest description of magick is that it is the use of energy to manifest a desired outcome, and the energetic properties of plants have long been used to assist this process.
All flowers, trees and herbs are traditionally linked with planets, festivals, elements, genders, Deities and moon phases and are blended together to invoke certain moods or the energy which you wish to work with for example you may need to use a relaxing blend to aid peaceful sleep, if you are suffering low self esteem you may wish to invoke Aphrodite and the attributes she embodies or you may be working with the phases of the moon and wish to use the energetic properties of plants associated with a specific moon phase.
The key to working with plants and magick is your intention, that is where the power resides!
